• Emerton Award for the "Jazz Band of the Year" in 2004, as a member of Jazzpression (an award given by the editors of the Hungarian Radio)
  
  
• In 2004, his composition "Ways" was chosen as a finalist out of more than 11.000 songs, at the International Songwriting Competition (USA) >>> The president of the jury was Branford Marsalis.
  
  
• Another success of "Ways": in 2005 at the USA Songwriting Competition >>> finalist in jazz category.
  
  
• In 2005, his song "In the Street" was a finalist at the UK International Songwriting Contest >>>
  
  
• In 2005 Jazzpression was the "Best Foreign Band" at the International Jazz Festival in Bucharest, given by the musical editors of the Romanian Radio.
  
  
• In 2006, his composition "Stream" was chosen as a finalist, one of the best 15 out of 15.000 songs from 88 countries, at the International Songwriting Competition. >>> Jury included John Scofield, Cassandra Wilson, and Tom Waits among others.
  
  
• In 2007 he won the "Best solist" title at the Hungarian Radio Jazzy jazz competition.
  
  
• In 2008, his composition "I'll catch you " has got the Third place in the jazz category and in the people's voice category too, at the International Songwriting Competition. >>> Jury included McCoy Tyner, John Scofield, among others.
